Shriram Transport Finance issues 4.75B rupees of bonds

Shriram Transport Finance Co. Ltd. said Jan. 18 that it issued 4.75 billion Indian rupees worth of bonds to Credit Suisse (Singapore) Ltd.

The rupee-denominated bonds, which bear an annual coupon of 8.25%, will mature Feb. 18, 2020.

The notes are payable in U.S. dollars and will be listed on Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Ltd.

As of Jan. 18, US$1 was equivalent to 68.07 Indian rupees.
