South Korea's SK Securities to issue 110B won of new shares

South Korea's SK Securities Co. Ltd. is set to raise 110 billion won by selling new shares to its existing shareholders.

The company said Oct. 12 that it will issue 36,363,000 shares to South Korea-based private equity firm J&W Partners at 825 won apiece to raise 30 billion won. J&W Partners is the largest shareholder of SK Securities. The shares will be issued Oct. 30.

Further, SK Securities will issue 116,110,000 new shares to all other existing shareholders at 689 won apiece to raise 80 billion won. The shares will be issued Dec. 21.

As of Oct. 12, US$1 was equivalent to 1,130.25 South Korean won.
