March 18

MZI Resources Ltd. nonexecutive director Chi To Wong resigned due to increased time demands and other business interests.

Michele Buchignani joined Copper Mountain Mining Corp.'s board of directors, effective immediately.

China Magnesium Corp. Ltd. tapped Antony Tolfts to take up the role of nonexecutive director, effective immediately.

President Jed Richardson succeeded Stephan Theron as CEO of Trigon Metals Inc. Theron will remain as a director.

Orosur Mining Inc. Chairman John Walmsley died following an illness. Robert Schafer was named interim chairman.

Dolly Mokgatle intends to step down as an independent nonexecutive director for Kumba Iron Ore Ltd. following its annual meeting May 10.

Noble Metals Ltd. said Andrew Mooney took up a seat on its board as a nonexecutive director.

March 19

David Greenway agreed to take over the roles of CEO and director for Essex Minerals Inc. from Adam Cegielski, who resigned before a board meeting called to approve a resolution for his removal as CEO.

Arena Minerals Inc. director Eduardo Morales was promoted to executive chairman, effective immediately. Peter Damouni was added to its board of directors. Dan Bruno vacated his seat on the board.

Director Mark Haywood resigned from the board of Northern Sphere Mining Corp., effective March 14.

Bullion Gold Resources Corp. added Dennis Marsden to its board as a director, effective immediately.

March 20

Mike Kane was added to Sims Metal Management Ltd.'s expanded board as an independent nonexecutive director.

Peako Ltd. named Darryl Clark an independent nonexecutive director, effective immediately. Director Peter Armitage resigned.

Fugui Qiao left the board of Wesizwe Platinum Ltd., effective March 19.

Viva Gold Corp. selected Edward Mahoney to take up a seat on its board.

Chairman Sean Roosen resigned from the board of Falco Resources Ltd., with Bryan Coates succeeding Roosen.

Vangold Mining Corp. said James Anderson took up the role of chairman and replaced Cameron King as president and CEO. Praveen Varshney assumed the roles of CFO and a director that were vacated by Xavier Wenzel and Robert Kang, respectively.

March 21

Marnus Bothma stepped down from the board of Chase Mining Corp. Ltd., effective March 20.

Chaarat Gold Holdings Ltd. said Warren Gilman was tapped to join its board as a nonexecutive director, effective immediately. Nonexecutive director Martin Wiwen-Nilsson left but will remain as a senior adviser.

Feng Delin took up the role of finance director for China Nonferrous Gold Ltd., effective immediately.

Mirasol Resources Ltd. President and CEO Norman Pitcher took up a seat on its board as a director, replacing Stephen Nano, who resigned but will remain as an adviser.

Abdel-Majeed Haroun joined Asante Gold Corp.'s board as a director. Haroun has held the positions of Ghana's deputy minister of mines and deputy minister of agriculture. He was also the special adviser to Vice President Alou Mahama on the economy and international relations.

Le Mare Gold Corp. said David Greenway made way for Bryson Goodwin to take up the roles of president and CEO, following the company completing the first phase of its restructuring.

March 22

Jiangxi Copper Co. Ltd.'s board voted in favor of Zheng Gaoqing's appointment as executive director of the company.

Li Wing Sum Steven tendered his resignation as an independent nonexecutive director of Xinjiang Xinxin Mining Industry Co. Ltd. and will be succeeded by Wong Yik Chung John, effective May 24.

Crest Resources Inc. added Owen King to its board of directors, effective immediately.

Cheng Ho On was appointed an independent nonexecutive director of Kiu Hung International Holdings Ltd., effective March 23.

Essex Minerals Inc. named Yari Nieken CEO and director of the company following the resignation of David Greenway.
