Ofthe total, Xetra contributed €111.7 billion, down on a yearly basis from €146.8billion, while Börse Frankfurt reported a year-over-year decline in turnover to€3.5 billion from €6.8 billion. Order book turnover on Tradegate Exchange fellto €5.6 billion from €9.1 billion.
Brokendown by asset classes, cash market turnover in equities reached about €103.9billion, while the turnovers in bonds, structured products and funds wereapproximately €700 million, €1.2 billion, and €100 million, respectively.Turnover in exchange-traded funds, commodities and notes stood at €15.0 billionin March.
Atotal of 22.0 million trades were executed on Xetra in March, compared to 21.7million in the same month in 2015.
