Total revenue totaled €22.84 billion, and total operating expenses came to €22.15 billion.
Reported net income totaled a loss of €86.0 million, or a loss of €1.82 per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled a loss of 29 cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate of €2.38.
EPS was €1.84 in the prior year.
Normalized net income was a loss of €14.0 million, compared with income of €89.1 million in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue decreased on an annual basis to €46.83 billion from €49.16 billion, and total operating expenses fell on an annual basis to €45.66 billion from €47.10 billion.
The company said reported net income totaled a loss of €168.0 million, or a loss of €3.50 per share, in the full year, compared with a loss of €52.0 million, or a loss of €1.07 per share, the prior year.
