G-Tekt Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, amounted to ¥35.98 per share, a decrease of 18.9% from ¥44.39 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥1.58 billion, a decline of 18.9% from ¥1.95 billion in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin fell to 3.2% from 4.3% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 10.2% on an annual basis to ¥49.64 billion from ¥45.04 billion, and total operating expenses climbed 12.6% from the prior-year period to ¥46.77 billion from ¥41.54 billion.
Reported net income decreased 20.6% on an annual basis to ¥1.92 billion, or ¥43.70 per share, from ¥2.42 billion, or ¥55.05 per share.
As of Feb. 6, US$1 was equivalent to ¥119.01.
