POP names new programming executive

POP (US),which is jointly owned by CBS Corp.and Lions Gate Entertainment Corp.,appointed Justin Rosenblatt executive vice president of original programming anddevelopment, effective in September.

Rosenblatt, who is currently serving at The CW (US) senior vice president of alternative programming,will succeed Paul Adler, who has decided to leave following a 16-year tenure andthe completion of the network's rebrand, according to a July 25 news release.

Adler will continue to work for the network as a consulting producerfor select projects.
