Google Inc.launched its Play Music store in India, NDTV reported Sept. 28.

It offers individual songs and albums for purchase in genressuch as Bollywood, Indian pop and international music. However, the unit is not yet offeringits subscription service, Google Play Music All Access, or streaming support.

Google's launch places it alongside Apple Inc.'s iTunes and Bharti Airtel Ltd.'s Wynk Music in India's digital musicmarket.
