Chesapeake Energy to redeem $923,000 of senior notes

Chesapeake Energy Corp. announced the redemption of all its outstanding 2.25% contingent convertible senior notes due 2038 on Jan. 28, 2019.

The notes, with a principal aggregate value of $923,000, will be redeemed in multiples of $1,000 at 100% of the principal amount, plus accrued and unpaid interest.

As of Dec. 28, the conversion rate for the notes is 12.4755, Chesapeake said.
