Goldman Sachs Group Inc. appointed Karen Seymour a partner and co-general counsel. Seymour earlier worked with Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.
D.A. Davidson & Co. added Thomas White to its equity research team in New York. White earlier was at Macquarie Capital.

Following the merger of Bluestone Capital Partners' mergers and acquisitions advisory practice into Houlihan Lokey Inc.'s aerospace, defense and government services group, John Allen, Susan Gabay and Greg Van Beuren will join Houlihan Lokey.

Houlihan Lokey hired Victor Barcot as a managing director in its oil and gas exploration and production group. Barcot joined from Deutsche Bank.
Securities America Inc. appointed Jim Norwood president of its financial institutions division. Norwood earlier worked with Priority Financial Group.
