RBC's City National hires SVP; Old Dominion National names 3 directors

S&P Global Market Intelligence presents a daily roundup of management and board changes in the bank and thrift industry. This feature excludes C-level leadership changes and stories previously covered by S&P Global Market Intelligence.

* Landmark Community Bank President and CEO Thomas Amico disclosed in a letter to shareholders the appointments of Richard Rose and John McCarthy as directors.

Rose is the president and CEO of Petroleum Service Co., while McCarthy is the president of McCarthy Tire.

The Pittston, Pa.-based bank is a unit of Landmark Bancorp Inc.

* Canton, Mass.-based Bank of Canton named Tony Battista regional lending manager.

He previously served as executive vice president of finance at Needham, Mass.-based Needham Bank.

Bank of Canton is a unit of Massapoag Bancorp Inc., which, in turn, is a unit of Ponkapoag Bancorp MHC.

* Virginia-based Old Dominion National Bank appointed Daniel Harrington, Mayur Patel and William Shawn to its board.

Harrington is the president and CEO of DM Haggerty LLC.

Patel, a licensed Pennsylvania attorney, is co-founder and principal of Laughner Patel Developers.

Shawn is co-managing partner of ShawnCoulson International Lawyers; is an owner of the Exclusive Automotive Group of Northern Virginia automobile dealerships; a partner in SilverArrow Americas; and serves as an adjunct professor and an emeritus member of the dean's board of advisers at The George Washington University Law School.

* Peapack-Gladstone Bank, which is further investing in its advice-led strategy through its corporate advisory team, has hired Kevin Bodnar to head the division with Patrick Brocker.

Brocker is a leader at the Bedminster, N.J.-based bank since 2015 and heads structured finance. The duo, along with fellow Peapack-Gladstone Bank senior managing director, Thomas Brower, will lead the team in complement to other disciplines within the bank, a unit of Peapack-Gladstone Financial Corp.

Bodnar most recently served as managing director at Corporate Fuel Partners.

* City National Bank hired Davi Tserpelis as senior vice president and Long Island regional business manager.

She was previously a senior vice president at Astoria Bank.

Los Angeles-based City National Bank is a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Canada.
