Dongwon F&B Q3 profit climbs YOY

Dongwon F&B Co. Ltd. said its third-quarter normalized net income was 5,497.96 South Korean won per share, an increase from 5,271.96 won per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 21.22 billion won, a gain from 20.35 billion won in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin declined to 3.8% from 3.9% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 6.4% on an annual basis to 557.55 billion won from 524.09 billion won, and total operating expenses increased 6.6% from the prior-year period to 521.77 billion won from 489.25 billion won.

Reported net income grew from the prior-year period to 25.56 billion won, or 6,624.47 won per share, from 24.74 billion won, or 6,411.00 won per share.

As of Nov. 10, US$1 was equivalent to 1,159.52 South Korean won.
