Lucapa Diamond Co. Ltd. has sold a parcel of diamonds for A$5.3 million, bringing the company's total sales for the year to A$44.1 million.
The parcel of 2,209 carats of alluvial diamonds from the Lulo diamond project in Angola fetched an average sale price of A$2,437 per carat.
The next sale will be held in late October and will include both the 104-carat and 172-carat type IIa D-color gems recovered this month.
Endiama EP holds a 32% stake in Lulo, while Rosas & Petalas SA holds 28%.
