An updated estimate for Alt Resources Ltd.'s Bottle Creek project in Western Australia showed increases in contained gold and silver, according to an Oct. 18 release.
The project now hosts 160,000 ounces of gold within 2.6 million tonnes at 1.89 g/t of gold, and 900,000 ounces of silver within 2.5 million tonnes at 10.68 g/t of silver, using a 0.5 g/t of gold cutoff.
A new round of drilling testing extensions to the north and south of the Emu deposit, as well as laterite-hosted mineralization at the Southwark deposit, added 50,000 ounces of gold and 246,000 ounces of silver to the resource, the company said.
Along with the current resources within the Mount Ida gold project, the company's combined resource inventory now stands at 3.9 million tonnes at 2.07 g/t of gold for 257,000 ounces of gold.
Alt Resources, meanwhile, said mine planning, pit optimization and metallurgical studies for Bottle Creek are underway ahead of a pre-feasibility study.
