Yuanta Securities Korea Co. Ltd. said March 12 that it nominated Ming Zheng Guo, executive vice president of Taiwan-based parent Yuanta Securities Co. Ltd., as CEO.

Guo's appointment will become official after the company secures shareholder approval on March 29.

Current CEO Wei Cherng Hwang will return to Yuanta Securities.

Guo will serve as co-CEO with South Korean CEO Suh Myung-suk.
