Goldman SachsGroup Inc. named Oliver Sedgwick head of investment grade capitalmarkets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Thomson Reuters' IFR reported April 27, citing aninternal memo.

Sedgwick, who previously served as the company's head of theEMEA investment grade syndicate desk in 2011, will in his new role beresponsible for the EMEA investment grade product across origination andsyndicate.

He will work closely with investment banking services andtreasury coverage, according to the memo.
