Foresight Financial CEO resigns

Brent Myers has resigned as president and CEO of Rockford, Ill.-based Foresight Financial Group Inc. and subsidiaries State Bank of Davis and Lena State Bank.

He resigned as CEO of State Bank of Herscher and stepped down from the boards of Foresight, State Bank of Davis, Lena State Bank, State Bank of Herscher and Northwest Bank of Rockford. The resignation took effect Oct. 13; Myers intends to pursue other business opportunities.

The search for Foresight's next president and CEO is underway, as well as for State Bank of Davis' next president. The board has elevated Vice President Curtis Derrer to Lena State Bank president, CEO and board member. The promotion takes effect Oct. 13.
