Sabra Health Care REIT Inc. is moving from the S&P Dow Jones Indices' S&P SmallCap 600 index to replace Care Capital Properties Inc. on the S&P MidCap 400 index.
Sabra will be joining the S&P MidCap 400 Global Industry Classification Standard Specialized Health Care Real Estate Investment Trusts Sub-Industry index, effective before the market opens Aug. 17.
Sabra is in the process of acquiring Care Capital, with the deal expected to be wrapped up "soon." The resulting entity will be seen as more representative of the mid-cap market space, Sabra said in a release.
Meanwhile, Barracuda Networks Inc. will replace Sabra on the S&P SmallCap 600 index.
