Moody's assigns senior unsecured debt rating to AIB Group

Moody's on March 27 assigned AIB Group Plc a Ba2 long-term local-currency senior unsecured debt rating.

The rating was assigned after the new holding company of Allied Irish Banks Plc issued €500 million of senior unsecured international bonds.

The outlook on AIB Group and its senior unsecured debt rating is positive.
