Moody's on April 7 revised the outlook on Slovakia's rating to positive from stable, while affirming the country's A2 issuer and senior unsecured ratings.
The outlook change was based on Slovakia's continued strong economic growth prospects and the anticipated pick-up in the pace of public sector debt reduction supported by robust growth and continued fiscal consolidation.
Meanwhile, the country's Aaa long-term local- and foreign-currency bond and bank deposits country ceilings and its Prime-1 short-term foreign-currency bonds and bank deposits country ceilings remain unchanged.
