BNP Paribas Moroccan unit appoints management board chairman

Philippe Dumel, currently CEO of BNP Paribas SA's Ukrainian unit Ukrsibbank, will become chairman of the management board at the French lender's Morocco-based unit Banque Marocaine pour le Commerce et l'Industrie.

Dumel will take over from Laurent Dupuch, who in turn will take over his CEO position at Ukrsibbank.

Dumel became head of the Ukrainian bank in 2015, while Dupuch has been chairman of the BMCI management board since 2013.

BMCI said Jan. 13 the change in roles will be proposed to the supervisory board on Feb. 26, with the appointments remaining subject to regulatory approvals.
