BMW, Honda to recall more than 2,800 vehicles in South Korea

Bayerische Motoren Werke AG, BMW-owned Mini and Honda Motor Co. Ltd. will issue a voluntary recall of 2,806 vehicles in South Korea to fix faulty parts, Yonhap News Agency reported May 30, citing a release from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

The models being recalled include the Mini Cooper S, BMW X3 xDrive20d and Honda Odyssey, the report said. Among the problems cited are the Mini Cooper S' malfunctioning circuit board and Honda Odyssey's faulty back seats.

Owners of the affected vehicles may visit designated repair and service centers beginning May 31 to have the parts replaced for free, the report added.
