Nippon Prologis REIT issues ¥6B green bonds

Nippon Prologis REIT Inc. issued ¥6.00 billion of investment corporation bonds with 0.660% annual interest rate via a public offering.

The issue price and the redemption price of the green bonds are set at ¥100 per value of each ¥100 bond, with a payment date scheduled for Aug. 17 and redemption set for Aug. 17, 2028.

Proceeds from the issuance, expected to be approximately ¥5.97 billion, will be used to prepay a portion of the ¥6.30 billion short-term loans, maturing Aug. 8, 2019, from MUFG Bank Ltd. and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp.

Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities Co. Ltd., SMBC Nikko Securities Inc., Mizuho Securities Co. Ltd., Nomura Securities Co. Ltd. and Merrill Lynch Japan Securities Co. Ltd. are the underwriters for the offering.

As of Aug. 9, US$1 was equivalent to ¥110.94.
