Shutterfly director resigns

Mario Cibelli on May 5 resigned as a director of , effective immediately.

Cibelli was electedto Shutterfly's board at the company's June 2015 annual stockholders meeting asa nominee of activist investor Marathon Partners Equity Management LLC.

Shutterfly's recent moves, including a new compensation planand the recent appointmentof Christopher North as the company's CEO, will help Shutterfly improve "financialresults and shareholder returns," Cibelli said in a statement.
