Woolworths Ltd. is changing its name to Woolworths Group Ltd., effective Dec. 7, according to a company release.

Shareholders approved the name change at the annual meeting on Nov. 23.

Woolworths said its "WOW" ASX ticker symbol will remain unchanged.
