Eric Fast will retire from Regions Financial Corp.'s board effective at the 2020 annual meeting of shareholders. Fast has been a Regions director since 2010.

Carl Metzgar resigned as a director of Riverview Financial Corp. and Riverview Bank, effective Dec. 19, to pursue other interests. Metzgar has served as a director since 2016.
Metzgar's board position will not be filled and the board will be reduced to 12 members.

Westamerica Bancorp.'s board nominated Melanie Chiesa as an independent member of the board, effective Jan. 23, 2020, until her successor is duly nominated, qualified and elected. Chiesa is a partner in her family's walnut and almond farming operations in Stanislaus County, Calif.

Robert Golden resigned from the boards of Dime Community Bancshares Inc. and unit Dime Community Bank, effective Dec. 31, for personal reasons. Effective the same day, the boards of the company and the bank will decrease to 11 members from 12 members.

James Carpenter, senior executive vice president and chief lending officer of New York Community Bancorp Inc., will transition into a consulting role with the company for three years, starting Jan. 1, 2020. John Adams, executive vice president and chief credit officer at the company, will succeed Carpenter in his position.

Slaughter will fill the unexpired term of former director Cheryl Johnson, which ends Dec. 31, 2020. Slaughter is the president and CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh.
