Maybank to issue US$850M of notes

Malayan Banking Bhd., or Maybank, plans to issue US$850 million of floating-rate notes under its US$15 billion medium-term note program.

The notes, which carry an interest rate of 3-month U.S. dollar London Interbank Offered Rate plus 0.8%, will be issued on Aug. 16. The notes will mature Aug. 16, 2024.

The notes will be listed on the Taipei Exchange and the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Ltd.
