Markel International has named Andy Lane senior underwriter inits marine equipment business.

David Stallard, who joined Markel International earlier in 2016as an underwriter, is also part of the newly created business within the marine,energy and property division.

Lane and Stallard will focus on marine and subsea equipment.They will also provide cover for inland contractor's plant and cargo.

Lane most recently served as class underwriter for marine equipmentat Skuld. Stallard has been an underwriter and a broker in the London marine market.
