Tokai Senko KK said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, was ¥43.37 per share, a decline of 13.3% from ¥50.03 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥147.8 million, a decrease of 13.8% from ¥171.4 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin declined to 3.7% from 4.6% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew 6.3% on an annual basis to ¥3.94 billion from ¥3.71 billion, and total operating expenses climbed 9.3% from the prior-year period to ¥3.72 billion from ¥3.40 billion.
Reported net income decreased 37.5% from the prior-year period to ¥168.0 million, or ¥49.31 per share, from ¥269.0 million, or ¥78.52 per share.
As of Feb. 6, US$1 was equivalent to ¥119.01.
