India's Tata Sky offers festival movie service to DTH subscribers

Tata Sky Ltd. is partnering with the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival with Star to launch a new service for its subscribers, Indian Television reported Oct. 5.

The Indian direct-to-home satellite TV provider's new ad-free service, called Tata Sky Mumbai Film Festival, will showcase a selection of critically acclaimed films from recent editions of the cinema event.

It will run three films daily, with more than 20 titles lined up for broadcast.

The service will be available to all Tata Sky subscribers at no additional charge, and starts Oct. 7 on channel 302 in both HD and standard formats.
