E-Life Mall Q3 profit falls YOY

E-Life Mall Corp. said its third-quarter normalized net income amounted to 66 Taiwan cents per share, a decline of 21.3% from 84 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$66.1 million, a decrease of 21.3% from NT$84.0 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin dropped to 1.6% from 1.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue decreased 11.8% year over year to NT$4.17 billion from NT$4.73 billion, and total operating expenses declined 11.6% year over year to NT$4.07 billion from NT$4.60 billion.

Reported net income declined 20.8% year over year to NT$86.8 million, or 87 cents per share, from NT$109.7 million, or NT$1.10 per share.

As of Nov. 12, US$1 was equivalent to NT$32.73.
