Facebook Inc. made its privacy settings easier to understand through an update of its Privacy Basics feature.
Built with gathered feedback from users, the update makes it easier for users to look for tools to control their information on the social media website. The 32 interactive guides are now available in 44 languages, the company said. Users can access tips to secure their account, find out who can see their posts and what their profile looks like to other users.
Users can access the Privacy Basics page by clicking on the padlock icon on the top right corner of the website. They can then click on the various interactive FAQs to see step-by-step instructions.
