Sept. 10

* Liberty Specialty Markets Ltd. appointed Alexander Montoya as president of its operations in Latin America.

* Colombian President Ivan Duque named former International Monetary Fund official Roberto Steiner part of the board of Banco de la República, Reuters reported. Steiner will replace Juan Pablo Zarate, who is leaving the bank to serve as the vice-minister of finance and public credit.

Sept. 9

* BRB-Banco de Brasília SA said it elected Reinaldo Busch Alves Carneiro as an independent board member, replacing Luis Fernando de Lara Resende, who departed the company.

* Chubb Seguros Chile SA and Chubb Seguros de Vida Chile SA said their CFO, Giancarlo Merello, stepped down. The companies appointed John Esquen as operations manager, replacing Michelle Lozano, who is now director of operations.

Sept. 6

* Banco Pan SA said it elected Diogo Ciuffo da Silva director. Carlos Eduardo da Silva Monteiro resigned as director.

Sept. 5

* Zurich-based investment bank Credit Suisse AG tapped Ilan Goldfajn, the former Brazil central bank chief, to be advisory board chairman at Credit Suisse (Brasil) SA.

Sept. 4

* ISEC Securitizadora SA said Jefferson Luis de Araújo Pavarin resigned as a board member. The company appointed Mauricio Pereira da Silva to the board.

* Itaú Unibanco SA appointed eight new managers to improve its wealth management business, Valor Econômico reported.
