Lucidworks Inc., a startup that builds artificial intelligence-powered search solutions, has raised $100 million in funding.
The latest capital infusion comes from technology-focused private equity fund Francisco Partners Management LP and investment firm TPG Sixth Street Partners. The company said no existing investors, such as Top Tier Capital Partners LLC, Shasta Ventures LP and Granite Ventures LLC, sold shares as part of this financing.
All proceeds will be used to fund Lucidworks' growth and expansion, according to an Aug. 12 news release.
Lucidworks offers Fusion, a platform that provides enterprise-grade capabilities needed to design, develop and deploy intelligent search applications.
