Rual Bornman, financial director at Fortress REIT Ltd., stepped down for health-related reasons and was replaced by Steven Brown on an interim basis, effective July 2.

Brown is an alternate director to Fareed Wania. Bornman will facilitate the handover to his successor and help with the financial reporting for the year ended June 30. A permanent appointment to the post is pending, the South African real estate investment trust said July 2.

The trust designated Robin Lockhart-Ross as an independent nonexecutive director on the same date.
