NC regulators approve 16-MW solar project

Camp Springs Solar LLC on Jan. 17 secured a certificate of public convenience and necessity from the North Carolina Utilities Commission for the construction of the 16-MW Camp Springs Solar facility in Caswell County, N.C.

The facility plans to sell its output to Duke Energy Corp. subsidiary Duke Energy Carolinas LLC. (NCUC Docket No. SP-8644)
