The White House has named three people that President BarackObama intends to nominate to serve on the board of the National Association of Registered Agentsand Brokers.
The expected nominees are John Huff, director of the Missouri Department ofInsurance, Financial Institutions and Professional Registration, and presidentof the National Association of Insurance Commissioners; Robert Suglia, seniorvice president and general counsel at Amica Mutual Insurance Co.; and Lori Wing-Heier,director of Alaska's Division of Insurance of the Department of Commerce,Community and Economic Development.
The association was established to streamline the multistatelicensing process for insurance agents and brokers while preserving theauthority of state regulators.
