Qingdao Rural Commercial Bank issues 1B yuan of green bonds

China-based Qingdao Rural Commercial Bank Corp. issued 1 billion Chinese yuan worth of green bonds.

The bonds will mature Aug. 1, 2020, and carry a coupon of 4.70%, according to a July 31 statement.

As of July 31, US$1 was equivalent to 6.73 Chinese yuan.
