Aviation Links Ltd. said its normalized net income for the first quarter amounted to a loss of 8 cents per share, compared with a loss of 15 cents per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of $637,630, compared with a loss of $1.1 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin rose to negative 3.5% from negative 8.6% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 41.2% year over year to $18.4 million from $13.0 million, and total operating expenses rose 34.6% on an annual basis to $19.6 million from $14.5 million.
Reported net income totaled a loss of $782,900, or a loss of 10 cents per share, compared to a loss of $1.4 million, or a loss of 19 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
