Greek Environment and Energy Minister Panos Skourletis saida compromise between EldoradoGold Corp., local communities and the government is necessary forthe miner to proceed with its gold project in the country, Reuters reportedMarch 31.

The Greek government stopped operations at Eldorado's mines in August 2015, adecision that was overturned in November 2015 by the country's top court.
