Amazon expands Music Unlimited to more countries

Amazon.com Inc. expanded its Music Unlimited streaming service to 28 additional countries.

The ad-free service offers a catalog of more than 40 million songs and thousands of playlists and personalized stations, hand-curated by Amazon Music experts. The voice-assistant speaker Amazon Echo also will begin to ship to these new countries, the company said Dec. 8.

At launch, Amazon Music Unlimited is available for three plan options with prices varying per country.

English, German, French, Italian, Spanish or Japanese display languages will be available on the Amazon Music Web Player and app for Apple Inc.'s iOS and devices powered by Google Inc.'s Android operating system.
