SL Green signs new leases with Bloomberg, Omnicom

SL Green RealtyCorp. inked lease deals with Bloomberg LP and Omnicom Group for spaceat two of its properties in Manhattan, N.Y.

Bloomberg agreed to take up 204,442 square feet of expansionspace at the company's 1.5 million-square-foot, 47-story tower at for a term expiringin February 2029. The space, which encompasses the entire floors five to nine anda portion of floor 11, expands Bloomberg's leased space in the property to 458,998square feet.

Omnicom, meanwhile, agreed to renew its lease at SL Green's propertyat 220 East 42nd St. for 15 years. The leased space comprises 64,111 square feetencompassing the entire ninth floor of the 37-story tower, called . WPIX TV, TribuneCo., The United Nations and Martin Clearwater & Bell are among the other tenantsat the 1.2 million square-foot tower.

The lease renewal boosts Omnicom's tenancy at the property to231,114 square feet, including its leaseextension in January for 167,003 square feet of space.
