Kidman ResourcesLtd. will start a maiden drilling program at its Mount Holland Goldfield gold project near SouthernCross in Western Australia, it said May 10.
The drilling will target depth extensions to the known mineralizationat the Blue Vein deposit, where previous drilling recorded the deepest intersectionof 14 meters at 13.64 g/t of gold at a vertical depth of around 350 meters.
A more extensive follow-up program at Blue Vein will be designedusing the results.
The company will also plan follow-up drilling at the Gold Citydeposit to assess potential for another open pit gold resource within the MountHolland project.
Kidman will fund the program via proceeds from its oversubscribedcapital raising of A$8.04million, which also funded the project's acquisition.
