Landmark building on Sydney mall strip sells for A$100M

Australian property investor Victor Comino's Kingvest is purchasing the 160 Pitt St. property in Sydney for roughly A$100 million, The Australian Financial Review reported.

Located on the Pitt Street Mall shopping strip, the property has served as the headquarters of the Washington H Soul Pattinson pharmacy for 145 years, according to the Feb. 28 report. It will change hands on a record per-square-meter rate for a building along the strip.

JLL brokered the deal for the asset located in the Sydney central business district.
