Swiss private equity firm Partners Group Holding AG plans to raise up to €5 billion for a fourth buyout fund, Bloomberg News reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
The firm plans to raise the new fund, named Partners Group Direct Equity 2019, as soon as 2019. The group could also raise funds through separate accounts and its other funds that have allocations to direct private equity investments, the newswire reported.
Partners Group raised €6.2 billion in the first half of 2018 and funneled $7.7 billion into new investments during the period.
