Heinz, Tesco recall baby food over possible sharp metal fragments

U.S. food company The Kraft Heinz Co. and Tesco PLC are recalling jars of Heinz by Nature baby food sold at the British grocer's stores over risks that they may contain fragments of sharp metal.

The move comes after two sharp metal objects were found in a jar of baby food purchased from Tesco earlier in the week, according to the recall notice.

The products being recalled include 200-gram jars of Heinz by Nature 7+ months in sweet & sour chicken, mango chicken curry, cottage pie, cheesy and tomato pasta stars, Sunday chicken dinner, winter veggies and lamb, pasta bake with tuna, and spaghetti bolognese flavors.

The companies urge customers to return any of the affected items to Tesco stores for a full refund.
