Euro Manganese updates resources for Chvaletice, plans PEA release in 2019

Euro Manganese Inc. released an updated resource estimate for its Chvaletice manganese project in the Czech Republic, which has resulted in the reclassification of all tailings contained in the tailings piles to the measured and indicated categories.

The project now hosts total resources of 27.0 million tonnes grading 7.33% total manganese and 5.86% soluble manganese, with 98.3% of the resource classified in the measured category, according to a Dec. 17 release.

The updated estimate was based on the company's 2018 drill program covering 80 holes for 1,509.5 meters.

Euro Manganese, meanwhile, said it seeks to release a preliminary economic assessment for Chvaletice in early 2019, followed by a feasibility study.

Planning is also underway for the construction and commissioning of a demonstration plant to produce multi-tonne, ultra high-purity manganese samples for customer testing and qualification.

Euro Manganese is listed on the ASX, TSX Venture Exchange and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
