S&P Global Market Intelligence presents a daily roundup of management and board changes at financial institutions in Europe. This feature excludes C-level leadership changes and previously reported stories.
HSBC
* HSBC Holdings PLC appointed Michael Ellam and Simon Derrick as co-heads of its institutional client group as part of an overhaul that will see the ICG unit serving all of HSBC's public-sector clients, including central banks, Financial News reported.
Mark Anson was named global head of hedge fund coverage at the lender. He previously held the role on an interim basis, the report noted.
Additionally, Rami Hayek, who helped run the Asia-Pacific institutional client group and is head of coverage of central banks and reserve managers across the region, will step down to seek other opportunities within the group.
Achmea Bank
* Achmea Bank NV appointed Robert Otto as member of the supervisory board, effective Jan. 21.
Otto succeeds Bianca Tetteroo, who is stepping down from her position on the supervisory board, having served on it since 2017.
Tetteroo has also been on the lender's management board since June 2015 and became vice chair in January.
