Individual members of Oregon's failedhealth insurance co-op can get credit for what they have paid in deductibles andtoward out-of-pocket maximums when they change carriers.
Members will have to find new planson the HealthCare.gov website or through an insurance agency, Oregon's insurancedepartment said in a release.
The state had hoped to extend the deadline for finding new insurance followingthe sudden collapse ofOregon's Health CO-OP.However, the organization's individual and group plans will end July 31 as originallyplanned, and members must find new carriers effective Aug. 1.
Members of group plans may have tostart over on deductibles and out-of-pocket maximum expenses, depending on the newinsurer chosen.
