China Vanke FY'17 attributable profit climbs 33.4% YOY

China Vanke Co. Ltd. said its earnings per share for the 2017 full year amounted to 2.54 yuan, an increase of 33.7% from 1.90 yuan per share in the year-ago period.

Net profit attributable to equity shareholders of the company totaled 28.05 billion yuan, a year-over-year increase of 33.4% from 21.02 billion yuan.

Revenue totaled 237.34 billion yuan, compared with 228.92 billion yuan in 2016, with China Vanke's core business, including property development, contributing roughly 227.69 billion yuan.

As at 2017-end, the developer had a total of 172 commercial projects under management, and total gross floor area of more than 10 million square meters.

China Vanke plans to distribute a 9-yuan cash dividend for every 10 existing shares held, on or around August 30, subject to approval at the company's 2017 annual general meeting.

As of March 23, US$1 was equivalent to 6.31 yuan.
